The prep isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be... challenging yes. The procedure has improved over the years. I did get some preliminary results that do explain my symptoms over the past year. It is an ulcer that caused all the distress, but the good news is that the Doc says it can be cured. So yet another pill to take. She wants a repeat on the upper procedure in about six weeks to check on the healing. Thank heavens there is no prep for that.


Fasting for a day and a half was challenging, the temptation to eat something especially when the family was having a meal was intense. But I wanted answers, so I wasn't about to screw it up. What I learned here at SP and from Dr. Judith Beck is what eased this process for me. Now I have answers, The day and a half challenge was so worth it.
