Been a rough week.
have battled IBS symptoms all week. It's my weigh day but the constipation has been so bad I will wait until tomorrow morning. I am not expecting a loss this week since it has been so bad.
4 day work weeks are so long for me. I don't know why but they always have. I do have non weight victories this week. Stayed within calorie range all week, even with that pizza this week. I avoided the glazed doughnuts in the break room yesterday!! That is a huge deal for me. They didn't even call my name. I was so proud of myself by the end of the day. A huge milestone for me. Sweet tooth is huge. I have all but given up the sugar and it has made a big difference in the cravings. I have bought popsicles for those moments. Wonderful treat at 50 calories each. I know there are sugar free ones out there but they are hard to come by in this area. Oklahoma is not one of the healthiest states.

I am making progress in this even if the scales doesn't show it. Small changes, continued baby steps in a forward motion. I will get there. I have a date with a horse come Ocotober. I don't just want to pet him. I want to ride him. Pushing forward. Have a good weekend.

Woohoo, good job on no sugar and resisting donuts/cake. Now I have to get rid of caffeine. Even though just a small mug of coffee a day, I don't like how it makes me feel.

So much here that spoke to thank you for blogging. I'm sorry to hear about the difficulty of your week. You're always there for other people - I hadn't known you were struggling with IBS.

I know you're in this for the long haul, yet it's still nice to see some week to week changes. You're so wise to keep the non-scale victories in the forefront - they're really the ones we're after anyway! We want lifestyle improvement, and it sure sounds as if you're on a great track.

You've intrigued me with the horse comment (you know my icon :)), what's the goal, if you don't mind sharing? You also mentioned living in Oklahoma. We're considering a move, and just yesterday we narrowed our targets...OK is one of the three states we're considering. Any advice?

Have a WONDERFUL day, SparkFriend. I hope you feel better.
