Putting it all together

Good morning everyone!

I'm finally back on track! It took me a loooooooong time but I think I'm in a better place now and it makes all the difference. My toddler is sleeping a little bit better thanks to meditation and cuddles and so am I.

So I've resolved to take better care of myself from now on. Which means putting everything I've learnt with SparkPeople all together: I'm now having 6 mini-meals a day, consisting mostly of fruit and veggies, particularly raw. And it's working: my skin is glowing again, I feel satisfied and don't crave anything 'naughty'. I've lost a bit of the weight I'm so ashamed I put on again. It's only been a few days but I'm very proud of myself.

Here's my daily schedule:
1. magic potion (2 pieces of fruit - oranges, bananas - + lettuce)
2. pieces of fruit (bananas, clementines, apples... you name it)
3. meat or fish + raw veggies (zucchini, carrots, chicory...) + 1 piece of fruit
4. magic potion (different pieces of fruit and lettuce)
5. beans + raw veggies + 1 piece of fruit
6. magic potion (different pieces of fruit and lettuce)

Since I stretch for 10 minutes every night now, my body is feeling better too. So I've decided to exercise again. In the past, I absolutely loved programmes like P90X and CLX (aka Chalean Extreme). But they're very time-consuming (each workout is at least 40 minutes) and I wonder how I managed last year with a newborn... Anyhow, I've made my very own programme by using 10-minute workouts from YouTube since 10 minutes a day is the most realistic time-frame I can afford for the time-being. I've decided to change it all every 3 weeks so as not to get bored and to get challenged.

Monday - cardio (Boxer Babe with Tiffany Rothe)
Tuesday - lower body (butt and thighs workout at home from FitnessBlender)
Wednesday - cardio (Dance with Julianne)
Thursday - upper body (Tank top arms from PopSugar)
Friday - cardio (Fat blasting with Jeanette Jenkins)
Saturday - full body (with Holly Perkins)
Sunday - core (10 minutes to Bikini-ready abs)

This is a programme I can stick to!
But I wouldn't be able to do so if I wasn't feeling better about myself. The podcasts Inside Out Weight Loss are helping too - I like the fact that it goes much beyond the grammar of calories and carbs and so on... It explores the reasons why we overeat.
