I feel like Iím on a roll. Yesterday was yet another good day. I ate in the middle of my calorie range, drank more than my required water, got in a walk at work , did a little lifting and extra cardio time on the treadmill at night.
I did have a little bit of an Ah Ha moment yesterday. Iíve been paying more attention to my daily summary report and hitting all of my nutrition goals. Particularly concerning was that I was coming in low on calcium every day. Long story short, the entry I was using for my morning yogurt shows no nutritional content for vitamins or minerals. So I was eating 20% of my daily calcium with the yogurt, but I wasnít getting credit for it in the totals. I learned my lesson. I need to double check stuff like that.
One of my promises to myself is to be intentional about being happy and part of that is not getting upset about things at work. If my boss is complaining about stuff I try not to engage in the complaining. If I am excluded from meetings, I am trying not to take it personally. So far at work I have been doing pretty well with this approach. This week has been challenging with how some of my peers and the leadership above me are acting, but Iím not going to let it get to me. I need to start doing this at home as well. But thatís a story for another dayÖ..
