I feel great today!
Yesterday I had decided to start going out for a walk each day. So this morning I went for one. it was real cold (-19C) so I got my winter boots out, put on my good coat, a scarf and some gloves and went out.
I stayed around the block to make sure I was never far from home. It is a quarter of a mile circuit to go around the block. My goal was to do at least one turn but try for 4 (to make a full mile). I did the 4! I was happy! Got back in the house sweating with cold thighs! that is what happens when you have a good winter coat but forget to put a second pair of pants! lol
Tomorrow I intend to go out for either a faster mile or a 1.25 mile walk. Tomorrow is also weight-in for the end of my 2nd week. it will be interesting to see. whatever the scale says, I'm happy about my week: Not only did I start putting in some fitness minutes, but I also managed to track my food for 2 days and drink my water for 4. A lot of improvements so I am happy and proud.
