I can't wait for it!!!
As I'd mentioned previously in my blog 'so I quit my gym' I have joined a REAL biggest loser challenge! The part I'm mostly excited for is it doesn't seem that it's going to be set up 'wrong.' The meal plan will be reasonable, healthy and within safe calorie range. The workouts will be intense, but no more than I want them to be.
no scary coaches, no tears and breaking down if/when your team doesn't do well, and no humilliating call outs for doing bad. Just good old fashioned team-environment healthy weight loss.
My expectations? I'm not sure. It's a 90 day challenge. I haven't lost weight in a while, partially from lack of good nutrition, partially from not enough dedication to the gym. I know I can lose about 20 pounds healthily.
90 days = 12.8 weeks = 25 lbs if done 2 pounds per week. That's feasible! Goals then could be around 20 pounds, but I refuse to get angry with myself if I don't make the full 20 pounds.
I'd like to blog and share my experiences - so a chain of several blogs may be incoming. I might just write a journal and post it up weekly.
Anyway, I figured people around here would understand my excitement! My personal trainer and I have been working on learning strength training routines and pushing my limits, and I've been spending the past few weeks freeing up other obligations so I can dedicate my time to this.
