It was another wonderful day at my house. I began my day with a nice hot cup of dark coffee. I love the really dark roast and some medium roast coffee. For the first time in a LONG time I was able to sleep in past 0600. My children didnt get up until around 0700. It was so great to be able to wake up on my own and not HAVE to get up to take care of children right away. I had my cup of coffee and tinkered around the house. Then I ran on the treadmill for almost an hour. I ran 5 miles at a fairly fast speed for me. That makes me very happy since I am planning on racing my first 5k of the year in April.
I ate really well all day until this evening when the girls and I made homemade peanut butter cookies. I LOVE peanut butter cookies. I remember when I ran my first 5k last year. I ate about a dozen (no kidding) the night before my race. I ran faster than I ever had during my training and earned a PR. The cookies we made this time are much healthier at a whopping 69 calories per cookie. They were so good, I ate 8 of them and went over in my calories for the day but I ate really well the whole day so I'm not too worried. I was actually thinking of doing some strength training. Honestly though, I will probably just throw in an NCIS dvd and watch. LOL That is my favorite drama! So, I guess that is all I have to report for this day.
Talk to you all tomorrow.
Good night!! emoticon
