Yesterday was a good nutrition day, and today followed that pattern.
I feel like I'm finally starting to get a grip on myself.
This morning I had a protein shake and a banana; when that wasn't enough (I only used half a scoop) I grabbed a handful of broccoli and carrots, with light ranch dressing. I'm totally digging being able to have twice as much dressing with that,and I really can't tell the difference in taste.
For lunch, I went to tea with my mom! This tea room we go to is always great for portions and healthy. I had spinach and tomato quiche, salad, and split pea soup.
Dinner was just as good. I took an old favorite recipe of mine, and substituted the usual cut steak for ground turkey. I need to try it with fresh turkey! Anyway, that cut the calorie count in half, and it was super filling. Had it with whole wheat angel hair! Even with seconds, it was only 700 calories. :)
Overall, I'm proud. If I keep up this pattern, I'll definitely lose this week! (by the way, that fluke 187 pounds HAD to be fake. I've been at 190 since.)
