A few days ago, I ordered the SparkPeople cookbook. It was suppose to arrive today, but it didn't. Then, I looked at my email address and saw on Amazon that I sent the cookbook by mistake to my parents' home. They live in Ohio and I live in Indiana. I was like "Gosh Darn It!" Then, I called mom and told her to expect a package today from Amazon. Of course, my mother being a little nosey ask me what was it and I told her that it was just a cookbook. However, I forgot who I was talking to because my mother owns so many cookbooks that I cannot even count. She's even gave me some of her cookbooks because she had so many. So, knowing that it was a cookbook, she asked me if she can open the box and of course I said yes. Low and behold, she loves the cookbook, even after reading a few pages. She told me that I will love it as well, especially since I'm going to be really working hard at cleaning up my meals.
Now, I've tried to tell my mother to come back to SparkPeople, but she wants to stick with her Weight Watchers, which is working quite well for her. She told me she never knew that SparkPeople had a cookbook and would not have know until that book came to her home. So, as an even trade, my mother ordered me the cookbook from Amazon and I should be getting it on Monday. Isn't this too funny? My oops ended up being a good thing for both me and my mother! We are quite the pair!
