So far this week, I've done really well with staying on track and feeling motivated.
I've managed to get about 200 minutes of exercise in so far this week, and am going to the gym for at least an hour tonight. But best of all, I've kept a 1500+ calorie deficit every day, which means I'm on track to hit my goals!
I'm feeling really proud of myself these days and also very motivated. As of today, I've been watching and tracking my food and making sure to exercise for 3 weeks. I've also gone without a cigarette for a week and a day, even while I was at places that are pretty serious triggers for me!
I know there will be periods of time my motivation will wane, which is why I want to record my feelings right now. I want to remember how proud I feel and how excited. I want to remember how conquerable this seems right now - albeit not without a lot of hard work. I want to remember how confident I feel that I am up to this challenge, and I want to remember that even if my future self begins to doubt (which I surely will, even if only momentarily), there is something in me that knows how capable and strong I am.
In a journey that will last the rest of my life, I know there will be good days and bad. Today, however, is most certainly a good day.
