Wake up call perhaps??

Thursday, January 24, 2013

So My husband is a sweet man who spoils me in different ways. Well I have been wanting this particular shirt, it costs way more than I would ever spend on myself. He has been telling me just buy it who cares. Well I care, I have a problem with buying stuff for myself.

Well on Monday didn't he order it online and it came today. I was excited but, I let him open it and give it to me. Well guess what...Its freakin tight. It's a 2x :( I was almost embarrasded in front of the man who loves me no matter what! He told me to just return it and get something else I want. Well that's not the point. I have wanted this shirt for a year now! The point is I wear a xl and 2x in so many other shirts... well blahhh it just hurts. I told him I am not sending this back I am gonna hang this sucker up and look at it everyday as a motivational piece.

So I am hoping this is the wake up call I need to get my A$$ moving! I wanna try to start jogging as soon as the weather permits. I'm a sissy its been way to cold the past couple of days and to much snow. My daughter loves to play just dance and I always play so that is going to be our nightly workout, while the boys are doing boy stuff with Dad. So I set myself goals for Feb and I am hoping to rock the month!

Keep pushing Spark Friends!!

I can relate! Dave's mother bought a shirt for me for Christmas and it's a pretty purple. I gasped when I saw the size...3X!!!!! I freaked and asked him if I looked bigger than I thought or if his mom judged sizes wrong.
Turns out, they are MADE SMALL... it fits just as any of my XLs and 2X's do. So, don't fret Cuz-- it's NOT you, it's how everything is made. Did it come from another country? Sometimes those sizes are odd. Granted, I understand that you want to wear it NOW, but I know you will get there, you can do it! (and yes, I cut that d&@#* tag and size out... lol)

Gets the clothes thing totally, despite my gender. Recently a put a much-beloved sport-jacket on the giveaway pile. I have had clothes that were too small, become too big. After awhile, clothes just are clothes. Hang in there; you will be fine.

I think its great that you are going to use the shirt as motivation, however I wouldn't stress to much on the fact that the size didn't fit, clothes size run so different. You have had big weight losses back to back weeks so for you not to lose this week its just your body adjusting don't give up you will start seeing the scale move again just give it time.

Get that.... it has been so cold it is hard to stay motivated to get outside, but dont underestimate the ability to burn calories by just moving as much as possible in your day, rather than sitting.... helps keep you warmer too! Dancing burns a lot of calories (and quite frankly, is more fun than jogging if you ask me!) but will help ease those cold muscles into shape so your jogging will be easier come Feb. Good luck.
