Daily Coaching Motivation Day 5

Imagine stepping on the scale to find that your weight hasn't budged. Instead of immediately reacting with self-hatred and disgust, you remain calm and focus on the positive. What other accomplishments can you be proud of?

This is a good question. The good news is, I don't weight myself that often so it's not a recurring issue. I judge how I feel by the more practical things: how my clothing fits, how difficult it was to walk to the office or up stairs, how well I'm maintaining my food plan, or a new Pilate's move that pushed my boundaries. I care about my blood measurements are for cholesterol and iron, and how much energy or joy I feel.

These are the things I will remember when the scale isn't moving ... because muscle weighs more than fat!
