Good Afternoon, my fellow Sparkers!
I feel like I did fairly well this past week. I am down a couple of pounds, and am feeling great!
Sleep: I have been sleeping better, mostly through the night, rather than waking up 5-6 times a night and I can feel a difference when I wake up in the morning. I have been getting into bed around 10:30pm and reading until 11pm, so I think winding down like this is helping. I will continue this routine through this coming week (as much as I can with having out of town visitors this weekend).
Food: I rocked it this week! I was in my calorie range every day, and did a great job making smart choices. We did bring home pizza one night, but I was able to indulge while still staying in range. And, I find that if I don't indulge every so often (usually once a week) I find myself with uncontrollable cravings. So, I am very pleased. Food goals this week: Stay in calorie range, lower carb intake to under 200 daily, get at least 60 grams protein daily. These are areas I struggle with.
Water: 10+ cups a day.
Exercise: I took two days off today, instead of my usual one day, but I did get extra fitness time in with the hubster, doing lots of walking in the beautiful weather we are having here. So, I am satisfied with this and will work on adding some strength training to my routine more regularly in order to build some lean muscle. I do need to tone up a bit. Even with two days off, I was still able to get in my goal minutes and calories burned.

Relationships: I did a lot of connecting with friends far away this past week. It was nice to get caught up with all of my friends whom I don't get to see often. I have been working at keeping in contact with my immediate family (at least once a week per person). This hasn't been the case since moving. My BFF is coming into town this evening and will be here until Monday. I am very excited to have her here and to show her around my new city! I am looking forward to a great weekend!
Weight: down 2.4 lbs!
