A little bit off

Well last night I was over for the calories and carbs and didn't exercise either, got home too late, the same will be tonight as far as the getting home but I am gonna keep it with in the program. I think I am learning as if this happened in the past I would have said " The hell with it" and go off for weeks, now I have been able to have days off and then be able to pick up where I left off. It will be harder to get back in the swing with exercise because as it stands..I don't like it at all, never have, hopefully that will change too, it would make it easier but if not I am still gonna do it.

    Glad you joined the Glycemic team, hopefully you can find relief as I have..I have about 30 more to lose, but my tummy feels like a skinny person..I can live with that...

    Good for you, recognizing that old pattern and breaking it! Just because we puncture a tire is no reason to throw a fit and run around the car busting the other three! Just jump right back on the wagon and start taking care of yourself because you are definitely WORTH it!! Just think of it like quitting smoking, and take it one day at a time--or even one meal at a time.

    I was a bit over because I wanted tortilla shells with dinner and I didn't allow the room at the end of the day for it but in the past it would have been more like 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches plus a bowl of ice cream and then go to bed so I feel like I am improving

    That is a major victory. One night off plan is not nearly the damage as a week off plan or worse a month. emoticon

    I was wondering how everyone else deals with this. Yesterday I did good with the calorie intake and did some exercise but the day before I was under by almost 500 calories. That was with breakfast, lunch dinner and 3 snacks.

What do you eat to get your calorie intake up but not over? I have also purchased some DVD to do some workouts at home so when I arrive late I can still do some form of working out.

  Just keep pushing yourself...I don't like the excerise part either...but I guess we have to do it..... emoticon
