I repeat! I am not getting sick!

Okay....maybe I am getting sick emoticon

I woke up today feeling achy, stuffy and just plan blah. I have been trying so hard not to get sick but I think its going to get me anyways. I may have to skip my workout tonight if I continue to not feel good. Last nights workout was quite a struggle and I just couldn't do 20 minutes. So I stuck with 15 minutes.

It also doesn't help that its FREEZING here in Boston. emoticon Its 12 degrees here but the windchill is -17!! I would do anything for a large cup of hot cocoa (400 calories!!). But I will stick to my water and when I get home I will enjoy a hot cup of tea with a splash of milk (25 calories).

I hope everyone stays warm today and can avoid this flu/cold that's going around.

    You know I was reading that if you cut the top and bottom off an onion and leave it on your night stand next to you while you sleep it will absorb the bacteria and what not from your body. It sounds crazy but by morning it will be black from all the gunk and people say they feel considerably better.

I have yet to try it.

    As a transplanted northerner in the south, I sometimes miss real winters, but never miss the windchill.

Let your body be your guide - I pushed myself to exercise on Monday and made it through most of it, but then the cold I have went for my chest. I'm keeping things simple as I let my body deal with being sick.

    It says up above "leave encouragement". Here it is. I'm in "sunny warm" California where its freezing and raining and I'm getting sick too. So get under a blanket, take some Zicam and have some juice and try to avoid going out if you can!
