My DH and I have been together 20 years as of this past Nov. Got married 4/27/96. On our 12th Anniversary, I went for a dozen of everything. I went to his local coffee shop and got him a card with 12 coffee's. Gave him 12dollar bills for tips. 12 Hershey Hugs,12 Hershey Kisses. 12 pair of underwear because everyone needs new underwear, and few other things. You could do the same thing with 20. It was fun to think of different things, and he loved it.

Give him a massage. He would love that!

Re-creating that first date sounds like a winner to me. Whatever you choose, have a super time and congratulations for keeping that flame burning.

How about a framed photo of the both of you dating back to the dating days?

I like the idea of recreating your first date if that is possible or fun.

Another idea... If you both enjoy music and/or dancing, see if there is a local night/dance club or bar that has a special night with music from the time you first dated. For example, a local casino has something called Boogie Nights where they play music from the 70s and 80s and you can get in free if you dress the part.

Happy Anniversary!

Wow! You remember when your first date was. How about recreating the first date? Or doing something you both enjoy doing such as hiking or antique browsing.
