I stepped on the scale today just for the hell of it and it turns out I'm a couple pounds less than I thought. emoticon This got me really excited. Although it's still a few days before the mark of my "official" full-scale diet start date (I'm waiting until Sunday) it's still cool that I dropped a few pounds.

I went shopping yesterday for the first time in a long time because I needed some clothes for a job interview. Needless to say I almost fainted when I found out that I can now buy size 12's instead of size 14's. And ladies, it's true when they say a black blazer takes off ten pounds. It is a good investment.

I'm more and more motivated to lose weight now. Seeing the difference on a size tag is really helpful. I've already packed up all my 16's and now I can't wait to pack all my 14's too. I'm looking forward to new clothes, are you?

Isn't it amazing how just that little bit can motivate. Keep up the good work.

Good Luck! Dropping a size (or even being close to it) is a real motivator. Be sure not to buy too many clothes right now if you plan on losing a lot of weight. emoticon
