That Didn't Go Well

Last night was a unique and exciting evening as many of us helped to move things out of the sanctuary to the gym so that they will be out of the way for the renovation as well as to bring some things that we need for worship over to that part of the building. One of the resources that we are limited in our supply are chairs. The youth room had several nicer and padded foling chairs that will be used in the gym for the next few weeks as we gather as a body for worship.
Evidently there was some miscommunication with our youth pastor and the volunteers about this being done. Last night, i received a phone call from him and he was rather angry that the volunteers had moved so quickly after the end of the second youth ministry gathering to trade out chairs and move them towards the gym for Sunday.
I will say very little about this conversation, other than the fact that it was not a pleasant one, and forced me to respond in a way that i am uncomfortable doing. Our relationship has been strained for several months now, due to a variety of reasons that i will not bore you with at this time.
I share all this to ask you to pray for both he and me in the days ahead. There are some philosphical differences regarding student ministry that we have as well as the issue of two strong personailites in leadership.
This situation is not healthy for our church, and is complicated by the fact that he is both bi-vocational in this position and a longtime resident of the area.
Please pray that the Lord's will shall be done. I am close to my wit's end with this circumstance.
