Feeling better and I noticed.............

I do feel better! I am far from well but better! Most people lose their appetite when they are sick! Not Me!! And I am graving salty foods! My mouth is so dry from breathing through it You would think salty would be the last thing I would want! I gained a pound yesterday and I know it is the salt and the fluids I have been drinking!! Another thing I wish I had stock in Purell!! I am really using it here at work and at home!!
Well it is tax season and I had better get busy!!! Enjoy Your Thursday!!! Love Y'all Bunches!!!!! (((((HUGS)))))

    When I get colds or sinus infections, the only thing I can taste is salt also..so know your problem..went to Himalayan sea salt this past year and it is saltier than regular so I use less and it is supposed to give me trace minerals that I need..might check a health food store for some..Hope you get to feeling better soon. emoticon

    Glad you are feeling better. Remember if you eat more salt, eat potassium rich foods to counteract. Foods rich in potassium are potatoes, plums, prunes, raisins, bananas, tomatoes and tomato juice, orange juice, artichokes, lima beans, acorn squash, spinach, nuts and seeds, apricots, avocado and garlic. Other foods with substantial amounts of potassium are fish, meat, poultry, whole grains, and yogurt.

    Glad things are improving. The water drinking is probably helpful but the salt surely isn't! Take it easy. Don't put yourself into a relapse like I did!
