16: Happy to be running

My Wend didn't go well...
Overslept so no gym, I was an hour late to work due to roads, general sluggishness, oh and a run through the coffee shop (*blush*).
Sigh. Mocha AND a asiago bagel w/ cream cheese. Yeah, NONE of that is on diet! To top the day off I also caved on a chic pot pie and a piece of apple pie. Sigh.
Yes my tummy has let me know that this type of behavior is unacceptable. And the gym scale reflected a +2 from last Thursday! I feel all bloated so it might not be all that bad (just gluten talking) but still. Time to make better choices!
Thursday has started out much better.
45 minutes treadmill
10 minute warm-up (it was really cold!)
30 minute 5.0 run
5 minute walk
I was really happy to get a 30 minute sustained run in. It helped that I remembered by phone so I could stream my running playlist - it makes such a difference on a treadmill!
On the other hand - never shall I wear the pants I was wearing running again! They kept sliding down and I kept hiking them up! Uggghh, I am on the hunt for something to wear to the gym that I can do weights and run in. I am not comfortable there trucking around in my running tights!
This afternoon I am planning on bailing early and wiggling out of a counselling session with the hubby - I really just can't face that crap yet - especially after the disaster of our last meeting. That's another blog all together and I not sure I am really to poke at that yet - I am happier just ignoring it for right now. One thing to tackle at a time.
Friday I have a late morning planned, I am finally flexing all those overtime hours from last week and catching a (hopefully) relaxing yoga class.
I have been neglectful in getting to the grocery store, but still think I can pull a 1/2 way decent food day out.
breakfast: protein shake
snack: protein bar
dinner: chicken and broccoli
