Time Wasting

Thursday, January 24, 2013

I am going to look to ensure that I'm not wasting time. This morning, I will park quickly and walk in rather than circling the lot looking for a "good spot"

As for the sweet tooth challenging, I am noticing that I crave sweets at about 10 am if I don't have breakfast. I also crave sweets at about 3 pm, but also when I feel bored, stressed, or in need of escape. Yesterday I added a walk, although I still had my afternoon sweet snack.

For me, Pears work better than apples. Sometimes I just don't want crunchy food.

I sometimes feel very resentful when I substitute. I feel like saying "Why can't I have what I really want - I'm angry that I have to 'settle' for fruit when I want something more pleasurable. In the past when I have successfully lost weight I've noticed that after three weeks or 5 lb of weight loss that this feeling goes away.

How about substituting something for the sweet snack that gives your mouth something to do, like an apple? Or two? You actually can't eat too many apples, and they are filling, and might break the sweet at 3:00 habit. Good luck!

Maybe you can substitute a walk for the sweet cravings, killing two birds. You are doing a great job!!!
