24 days later

I have been back with the Spark around 24 days now. I thought I would take stock of just what I have accomplished. I stepped on the scale and found I have lost just a bit over two pounds. Not a huge loss but it is a loss. Shows me I am going in the right direction. It also shows me that I really need to get a grip on just what is and isnt going in my mouth.

I have managed to move my body a bit more than the norm. I need to make this another conscious effort each day. I am not a big one on exercise. Just dont like it and find reasons why I cant do it. They are always a bit flimsy so I need to karate chop them and move my body.

Blogging here has never been a big issue. I enjoy it. A form of therapy and a great way to see just where my mental status is. Plus I have great people who always have an encouraging word too.

Teams I have checked in periodically to some and daily to others.

So, overall I believe I am making progress. Perhaps they are small steps but in the end they all add up.

Take a look at what you have done in the last 24 days. I bet you will find that you have accomplished things you didnt even know you had.

    I love that you blog regularly. Reading blogs helps keep my mind off snacking when I'm working the nightshift. And at midnight it will be my 26th day on Spark!! Normally I get about 2 weeks in and end up binge eating and then I give up on my "lifestyle change" completely. Congrats to you for keeping up with it! And thanks for blogging.

    I have been so stressed I can hardly remember the last 24 days. LOL. I need to do better. Make more effort like you do.

    Glad you are back. I walk too - 6 days a week for 75 mins a day. I walk 40 mins in the morning and 35 in the evening. I added it up and I have lost 3.2 pounds this last 24 days. I have accomplished a lot this cold and dreary month. Keep warm. It's 25 degrees here this morning in Utah.

    emoticon emoticon You are definitely faithful with the blogs! And I can sympathize with the dislike for exercise - the only one I can faithfully keep to is walking!!
