I actually weighed in yesterday and did not drop 1 pound. I dropped 2!!!!!
It has made my week!
On the flipside however, after 2 weeks of perfect, w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l slumber, I didn't get to sleep at all last night.
So I am seriously draggin like a wagon this morning. My body is super sensitive when it comes to sleep. If I so much as sleep in an extra hour or two in the AM, or take a nap during the day no matter how short, it will adversely affect me at night. I was really tired the night before last and DH thought it was a good idea to turn off my alarm and let me sleep in until 9 yesterday morning. Hence why no sleep last night. I know his intentions were good but he also knows what I go through when it comes to getting a good night's rest. It isn't pretty! One night of no sleep can mean a week or more of disrupted sleep. I have one medication that must be taken in the AM that makes me extremely sleepy when I have had no Zzzzz the night before, so chances of making it through the day without a nap are slim to none. This is where the vicious cycle of napping during the day = no sleep at night comes into play. UGH! Definitely not looking forward to today, or tonight.
