Getting things accomplished slowly while trying to keep my nerves in check.
I found a new home for my kitty today. A lady answered my post about her and since her daughter has allergies to some cats but not all, she brought her over to see if she was going to have a reaction or not....all went well and she spent about 10 minutes holding Chloe like a baby (a big, fat baby!), she was so happy to not have a reaction and be able to take her home. She is a teenager and I think that's a good thing because Chloe is a little bit older and won't have to worry about a youngster getting too rough.

After work I packed away the fish tank supplies, AND got my taxes filed. Next order of business is getting the fish tank emptied and cleaned (nope, still haven't done it yet!).
I did a bit on the trampoline last night, told myself 10 minutes and no more...I set the timer on my phone and did 3 minutes all at once before I had to stop. 3 solid minutes of bouncing felt like 1.5 minutes of jogging to my calves. I think the tramp might do what I wanted it to do...strengthen my ankles/calves/knees without the force of the impact from jogging so I am hoping that it will in turn help out my jogging!!!
By the time my legs felt ok enough to get back on, I realized it was because I took something for my nerves and I was more than ready for bed...before I fell over, lol, I am a terrible lightweight with most medications!
Tonight I got in about 20 minutes of exercising on the Kinect...not too bad, but my knees are kinda peeved off at me now and my shoulders aren't too happy either. Got my butt beat on raquetball but did alright on the rafting, haha...and my beau figured out how to make the darn thing NOT take pictures of me! I hate the pics that it takes, it does it when you are jumping or some other such silliness.
I've been maintaining my weight in between 278-282 for about 6 weeks now. I am still WAY overweight and have a long way to go, but I am pleased that I have been able to maintain with very little effort. Make that VERY LITTLE effort.
In between all the fuss about moving and extra pain with the cold weather snap, I haven't been doing as much as I should be doing. One thing to look to for exercise will be moving. Since there isn't a whole lot my beau can do with his shoulder the way it is, it will be up to yours truly. Not that I mind, I am one of those nutters that likes moving.
One habit that I decided that I want to change is eating the bulk of my calories at night, mainly because, that when I come home from work where I eat lighter things all day, I always feel like sitting down to a big, heavy dinner...I get all carbed up and then I don't want to move. I don't want to exercise, I snack more, and end up going to bed while my stomach is still full.
I am going to see how eating a bigger breakfast and adding a bit to my lunch while leaving my daytime snacks as they are...and see if that makes a difference.
I started my attempt today and it went...ok. I did eat more during the day and I ate a little less than I have been this evening for dinner, still overdid it a little on the carbs, but I am feeling quite full still and don't want any kind of snack, and dinner was about 4 hours ago.
So...so far it seems like it might be a good plan.
