Hump Day

I don't know what it is, but this week seems to have been going INCREDIBLY slowly. emoticon And not only is it going slowly, it seems like I'm getting nothing done at work. Thankfully I will be leaving a little early on Friday, so that will break the week down a little bit. Maybe the next two weeks will be better, but otherwise it'll have to be refocusing and buckling down starting Monday.

So my stupid moment for the day. This morning before I left I reached in the freezer and grabbed one of my packages to defrost for the day, thinking it was chicken. Get home and open the package, anticipating chicken. Nope - definitely ribeye steak. Well - could cook it the same way, no big deal. Took a small portion and paired it with fruit and sour cream. And you know what - was still within all of my nutrition ranges for the day.

No workout today - Wednesdays are going to be rest days unless I start getting up earlier than I do now for work. Maybe a goal I tackle later this year - one thing at a time!!! The next goal is to start to plan my own meals for the week instead of following the nutrition tracker. -Gulp- We'll see how that goes. But I will get back to exercising tomorrow!

    You know what just the fact that you are eating in and cooking at home says a lot. I'm glad that it's still within your range. Can you believe of all days I am below my calories today? All I think about is food and what I'm going to be eating next. But for some reason since we had this 2 hour delay for work I exercised in the morning and I'm just not hungry! But nevertheless I agree with the week being sooo slow! Can't wait for tomorrow! TGIF!

    This week is going slow! I took a rest day today, too. Great job with the food choices! Sounds like a great plan--one goal at a time.

    Way to go with the flow. How about some horseradish with that ribeye? I just happen to love horseradish and I think that is the only reason to eat meat! Anyway, I hope you have a restful and weekend and can recharge our batteries. But mostly, have some fun!!!!
