All work and little to no play

Wednesday, January 23, 2013

Work work and more work - now I see why people have a hard time finding time to workout. I have managed to lose weight by maintaining my eating habits but I haven't been working out as much as I'd like.

I did do the Amazing Race on Sunday with my sister - we finished in 56.02 (we got a 15 minute penalty which I think was given to us to make our time higher so that a child/adult or a child/child team would win). The event was sponsored by the NFL play 60 and the top 25 teams go to a championship race. We didn't care about our time we were only there to have fun...and we had fun so mission accomplished.

I'm glad you had fun. Don't be hard on yourself about the exercise. We have to do what we can do and sometimes life doesn't allow time for long runs. You have a victory on the food front. And you have a scale victory! So give yourself a much deserved pat on the back and remember that days like Sunday keep your momentum up so that when work slows down, Kayla's fitness can kick it into a higher gear!
