Day 395 - M

@ Heidi ~ YES!!! I did get the flannel lined jeans. They're a life saver. I LOVE 'em. So warm & cozy and I really NEEDED them this week when it's been so bitterly cold. I've actually been able to stay warm with those jeans and the merino wool long sleeved top that I wear underneath my sweatshirt. I wear 3 layers (a long sleeved turtle neck too) on top, the jeans & wool socks.

All the kiddos are SICK!!! Out of all the preschool kids on my I had only ONE! Everybody else has the flu. It'll be a wonder if my aide & I don't come down with it. After my last bus route I disinfected and wiped down all of the seats. Hope it's not in vain. I've never had this many kids out all at once. Makes for a pretty short bus route!

Got a lot of cardio hiking in today. It was cold this morning, so did some of it inside, but Jetta and I did do the big hill and 2 circuits in the woods on the hiking trail. 9.25 miles in all. Did a ST session tonight - core; upper body.

Just had a whopper of a salad tonight. Took the whole 10 oz. bag and dumped it into a bowl and ate the whole thing!! I was at the IGA and that bag of salad looked SO good...and it was. It's been a while since I've had a salad. Had some Greek yogurt too. It hit the spot.

A big thanks for stopping by today, if you had time. Hope you had a great Wednesday!! They say there's a warm up coming early next week. I'm ready for it!!!!!! emoticon

GS was sick yesterday and I had a bout of something this morning. Not missing a lot of people at work though. We do a lot of prevention. The seat wiping was SMART!!!!!! Probably do good to wipe their little hands (impossible I know) when they get on and off as well. Yucky bugs!!!

emoticon on the flannel lined jeans!!

I had a pair of them a decade ago when I was this size but gave them to Goodwill when I was heavier. Wish I had hung on to them, but a decade is a long time to hang on to clothes that don't fit and at the time you never thought you'd wear again and when so many needed clothes after the Flood of '08 that devastated Columbus.

There's 3 of us sick here, my daughter brought it home from working at Early Head Start. Son is fighting it, I'm fighting it. Some hours I win, some I lose and go to bed and feel better afterwards. So, be sure to get your rest, Kathy!!!

Flannel jeans, love 'em! I see them in LLBean but never think to get them, guess if we still lived up north they'd be a staple for me too. I have two merino sweaters that I just love.

WOW that is quite an outbreak of flu, stay well.

Smiling because I made a huge salad for lunch yesterday. Said to myself, self you don't do this often enough when it's cold. You wear me out with your energy and dedication.

OH boy, the virus is kicking major butt! Hope you avoid it. Have have had a cold (not the flu, thank goodness!) but crawling out of the hole on that one finally. Chicken soup, vaporizer, Vicks and herbal tea. All helping.

Stay well! Oh where did you get the flannel lined jeans from?? I think those sound perfect for walks outside! You sound just like me . . . dressed in layers like Nanook of the North! LOL Hey, it works though right!

We have had a slew of sick kids. They are blaming it on the weather. We are having roller coaster weather here, teens one day 60's the next, back to 20's, up to 50's, etc. Wish it would stop.
