I have noticed a pattern in my momentum ups and downs. My food and drink choices haven't been the best and I started losing momentum in my exercise and running about 2 weeks ago (right before the monthly visitor). It all is starting to make sense now. I am starting to get my drive back and it feels awesome. Tonight I went to my sunshine in a box and then I headed to the YMCA for membership information. I found out that I may qualify for a discount too so thats good news. I guess long story short I am going to have to push past the hurdle and gain control.
Today I walk/jogged on the treadmill for 30 minutes, 1.5 miles, Avg min/mile 20min warm up and cool down between 2.5mph and 3 mph and my work out bounced between 3.5mph and 6mph. The treadmill seems to be a good way to feel my pace out. I also took a ride on a stationary for a mile, and bicep curls with a resistance band and with 10lb free weights, and 10 pushups. Not a bad start to getting back into the game. Walking is great, but it just isn't enough anymore for me, although it is a great cross train. Tomorrow I'm hitting the gym again for my normal run day and to get my abs an awesome workout. Friday I am going to hit up the cardio Tae Bo, leg strength, and possibly Insanity Plyometrics. Saturday I work all day so that shall be a rest from exercise day, and I'll be back to it on Sunday. I am also reading on nutrition and exercise so I can be better educated on what my body needs from me in the differnet situations I put it through. I am sure the nutrition is different based on what kind of workout I am doing. I am also fully aware of how much better I do when I log onto Sparks. Thank you Sparks for molding me into the best me I can be, and for helping me figure out who that is. I am going to try and hit my goal mark for my January minutes, but another thing I am learning is that if I don't I will next month. Routine is the key, and all I have to do is figure out how to use it.
