...But I was toasty when I ran today.
Yesterday I wasn't prepared and gave up after a mile-and-a-half. I didn't want to get frostbite. I wasn't going to do that twice in a row.
OK: Here's a screen grab from Accuweather just before I started my run. The wind chill temp. is -1Fht.
...And here's a picture of me when I got back about an hour later.
...And here's all the stuff I removed including a baklava, neoprene face mask, knit hat, two pairs of gloves, Thorlo and Omniwool socks, two UA Cold Gear shirts, a Starter track jacket, a Descent wind shell UA compression shorts and ColdGear leggings, Starter track pants, an iPod in an armband, earphones, glasses, Garmin Forerunner, heart monitor, and foot pod, and of course, running shoes.
It was so cold out there, I didn't even sweat doing 10K at an eleven minute/mile pace. But I didn't freeze either.
