Name the beast contest! One more day!

Wednesday, January 23, 2013

I will give a nice luxury goody to the person who can come up with a proper name for my beast ( my new treadmill). Our relationship so far is a bit tepid, but I can see where it will flourish soon, and then it will no longer be a mean beast. But, I do like a good beast, mind you! In that train of thought I almost named him Vincent (from the old Beauty and the Beast TV series) I loved Vincent, I wanted a beast like him for my very own. That is when I met my husband and coincidentally Howard had the deep voice just like Vincent - that is what I fell in love with first!

Back to the naming of the beast - I promise to adopt the name that best fits our
very active friendship! Good Luck! And thanks for playing!

I kind of like Eegore. Or Brutus, if you're looking for something more muscular and tougher sounding.

If you're a Whovian - call it the Doctor. Always running, not even certain why, drives ya crazy but you love him just the same.

You can use any of the surnames I give to the elliptical machine that I hate to visit when I go to the gym. I have been known to refer to it as:
    The Beast
    The Torture Chamber
    The Devil
and other things that aren't appropriate to post.

I am going to think about this and check back in....

I opt for HAL - as in 2001 Space Odyssey. Man that was one annoying, madening, killer piece of electronic equipment.
