It's 6:38 p.m. on Wednesday...
and I've made it without binging (*QUICK* find wood-- knock on it!)
I've cooked my butt off this week-- I've made all kinds of yummy stuff. Tonight? Chicken & Shrimp Satay for 250 calories! (served over thin whole wheat pasta for about 400 calories altogether) with leftovers for lunch for the next two days!!
I've managed to not overindulge, not feel like I'm missing out and my mood has been pretty stable (I'm pretty moody and stressed from my job most days but this week hasn't been so bad-- I'm guessing it's because of the non-processed foods I've been fueling with and that I've been "fueling" and not binging or eating just to eat) I know it's only been since Sunday, but I'm feeling really positive and have a great momentum.
I worked out on Monday. I just wasn't able to swing it Tuesday (an early day into work) or this morning-- TOO tired. My sleep hasn't been the greatest. That's the next task on my list-- Get this sleep thing under control so I can get my workout on in the A.M.!! I didn't get home yesterday on time, so that threw me for a loop but didn't stop me from making a healthy dinner (it did cause me to have to make my lunch and stuff in the a.m. today, but in the grand scheme of things, no worries). All in all, I am doing it. I'm really, really trying to stick to it!
How do you manage when your work schedule changes abruptly? Or something you've planned doesn't come to fruition?
I definitely think planning what I'm cooking for dinner has helped me this week... and having PLENTY of fresh fruit & veggies on hand.
