You're bopping down the street during lunch, listening to your favorite funk playlist (everyone has one of these, right?) and all of a sudden you can't control it........you do a move:
You realize what you've done as dozens of people pass you by and stare.
...... and you look like this:
Then you rationalize......it's funk! You have to move to funk! How can you not! You can't listen to these.........
Play that funky music by Wild Cherry:
Tell me something good by Rufus and Chaka Khan:
..........and not do a move.
Then you think about it again, and you realize you might have belted out just a little bit of the chorus but didn't realize it because you had your ear buds in, turned up a bit loud.
Then you figure, well at least I didn't do the "Elaine move" from Seinfeld....that would be bad:

Or "The Carlton Dance":
(You've got to watch this one if you've never seen it before).......http://www.youtu
Then it hits you, I just walked faster because of funk. I'm in a great mood because of funk. "I'M FUNKING OUT IN EVERY WAY" (my favorite line from play that funky music). It doesn't matter what other people think. Just funk out!!
Guess this is a round about way of saying, do what you love and love what you do. Let music inspire you and make your work outs even better. It can pump you up and inspire you to run faster, lift heavier, hike steeper, or funk down the sidewalk with a style all your own!
