So I have hit a plateau, I have so many feelings going on right now, I have been exercising my butt off, trying to eat healthy, watching my portion sizes; you know all the good things but i'm stuck at 172.6 lbs and its just being stubborn. Please tell me what I need to do, its being like this for about one month now.

I agree, change up your routine, try changing up your diet if you tend to eat the same things all the time, play with your nutirent ratios (increase or decrease carbs, fat, protein) to see if something works better for you.

Letting up on the exercise a little, even taking a couple days off from it, has worked for me. Be patient. Look for other ways you are seeing progress. It's frustrating but it passes eventually. emoticon

Have you been doing the same workout routine? If so, you should probably change it! Your body will get use to your workout relatively quickly. I was reading that you should change your workout every 30 days. I believe this is why a lot of workout DVDs have 60 or 90 day routines. It keeps your body guessing.

Also, how has your eating truly been? Have you tracked everything you eat? I mean everything from snacks to test tasting your meals. Those calories add up! Additionally, have you ever heard of zig-zagging your calories? You may want to try this. What it entails is the following. Let's say your calorie range is 1200 to 1500 calories. The days you have intense workouts, eat toward the high end of your calorie range: 1500. The days where the workouts aren't as intense, eat toward the middle of your calorie range: 1350 calories. On rest days, eat around 1200 calories. Also, try to eat 5-6 small meals every 2.5 to 3 hours per day.

Try these tips & see if your plateau breaks. I know doing these helped me break a plateau. Much success to you! You can do it!
