Too long since I've blogged.
Too long since I've tracked food.
Too long since I've exercised or walked.
Too long since I've felt good and energetic.
This one is for me, but if any of you are interested in reading on, I don't mind.
You felt so much better when you had lost that almost 30 lbs. And you know you have felt much less energetic since gaining most of it back. You tell yourself you want to be the woman God wants you to be, but you know he doesn't want you to be obese and being too tired to keep up with the work He has for you. Why don't you just go ahead and call it what it is, a lack of self-discipline.
You have found time to read multiple books, emails, blogs, articles, but not your Spark People items. You have kept track of many things EXCEPT SP tracking.
You've taken time for others, family & friends, but not yourself.
Do you love you? Remember God comes first and other things next, but not putting yourself even last means you are not counting yourself at all. It's time to remember how much better you felt when you had lost the weight and were getting activity in. Remember - you also accomplished so many more of the goals that were important to you. Now is the time to add yourself back onto the list and take care of yourself.
Just for the rest of this week, track your SP items, get at least 10 minutes of activity each day, and remind yourself how lovely you are in God's eyes, Mike's eyes and how much longer your husband and sons want you around in their lives.
Take care of yourself not just for them but also for YOU!.
Learn to love the woman you are and become your own friend.
