MIL BACK IN HOSPITAL
Wednesday, January 23, 2013
So today hubby was taking MIL to the doctor and when they were testing her oxygen it was only 78 and they immediately sent her to the emergency room. We thought surely this is it this time but you never know. They took an x-ray and she has a slight case of pneumonia. We are so ready for her to be out of her misery and off to better parts. But I guess God has plans for her that we do not know about.
So you see, all this week, when she was coughing at our house, she was developing pneumonia. They put her in a regular room and they have DNR orders so we will see. Both he and I agreed that she will not be coming home with us again. If she gets well enough to leave the hospital, she will go back to the nursing home and stay there until whenever the Lord decides to take her. After arguing for a week about the situation, hubby and I both agree, we cannot take care of her adequately. And I did tell her I loved her and that she was the best MIL I could have ever had so I hope she understood and heard me. My head is pounding and my nose is still dripping although it is loosening up. I'm so relieved that she is at the hospital as last night, she could not breathe and coughed and coughed.
