So this week I have no pictures of my times on the arc trainer - to be honest I haven't been to the gym since my doctors appointment.
My eating this week has been sporatic (at best) and my water consumption down. I'm finding it a little easier with a new health & wellness program my work has started called Sprout.
With all this in mind - I'm back to square one weight wise - today was my weigh in and I'm back at 235 - so in two weeks I've gained back what I've lost :(
We had our Sprout kick off at work this afternoon - they had a planking challenge - whoever could hold a plank the longest won a water bottle. I gave it a shot even though I haven't planked in over a year and managed to hold on for 35 sec. - I was the first one out - which I thought I would be embarrassed about but in reality - not so much - I still held a plank for 35 sec.
The winner was a guy who I had to explain to what a plank was and he managed to hold for over 3min! The high score of the entire day was over 6min.
I've started taking the stairs at work instead of the elevator - I'm on the 6th floor so by 3 or 4 I'm really winded and my knees kind of hurt - I can push through until the 5th floor but then I need a break. Feels odd taking a break 1 floor before I stop but I just can't catch my breath!
Things have been really busy at work which is fantastic - I'm loving my new job and new office - I really enjoy being downtown again and surrounded by all the buildings. The downside is that there is now an abundance of restaurants and it's hard to walk past them if I haven't brought a lunch for that day.
This weeek my goal is to bring my lunch every day. I'm going to start going back to the gym on Friday (I'm teaching at Bible fellowship tonight and babysitting for friends tomorrow - so Friday is the first day available).
