Well follow up went good! Had to get my weight first, which I was a little scared of, but I couldn't believe it...I am down 8 pounds since the surgery!! He said the incisions look great and since the steri strips haven't started coming off yet, he said I can peel them off anytime...YAY, the one in my belly button is DRIVING ME NUTS LOL He said that the swelling by the main incision will go down in the next few weeks! Then he read us the report on my Gall Bladder...there was chronic inflammation and scarring of the GB with multiple stones up to half inch!! He said it needed out bad LOL!! Talked to him about certain foods getting to me and having to run to the bathroom some and he said that should all even out around 3 months...and he was happy to hear that I generally felt better and have more energy with the GB out!! So eventhough I was having doubts about the surgery during the rough patches, all and all I would have to say that I am glad I had it done bc I feel sooo much better now and that who knows how long all the GB issues were going on to cause me to feel that bad!?!? (All Dr could say was it had been "a while" LOL) So here's to hoping that this energy and all will carry on to helping me lose more weight!! for that!!!!
