Let Faith Grow...

Wednesday, January 23, 2013

Do you think staying in our comfort zone shows our trust and faith in Jesus' power?

If staying in our comfort zone, doing things in our own strength is all we do, how does that glorify GOD?

Isn't it when we are at our weakest point; filled with fear that GOD sees the depth of our faith, when despite our fears and weaknesses we step out in faith.

What a beautiful way to show everyone watching how much we trust what GOD promises to be true?

If Jesus lives in us, we can't fail?

We don't have to be afraid, HIS power lives inside of us.....We just need to allow GOD to empower us...GOD's Holy Spirit makes us courageous....Let faith grow!

GOD's will....Not mine Lord.....this I pray always!

I love your thought process here. Can I add something?

If we are Christians and the devil is not attacking us, or families, and we are not going through any struggles. Then we must not be working for Christ, because the devil is not feeling threatened by us. So we must be doing the will of the devil. When we are doing what God wants and living in the Spirit and following God's direction, then the devil like to turn the heat up on us to test our faith, and if your faith is not getting tested you may want to take a look at where you stand.

I have never thought about it this way before. It's true. When I am afraid of getting out of the comfort zone than I am not doubting my own strength; even more I am doubting the power of God. I will remember this blog the next time I find myself afraid to move out of that rut.

    Thank you.
May our Lord give you peace, joy and contentment during this journey on SP.
