1 Year Anniv. of My No Smoking.....

Wednesday, January 23, 2013

One year ago today I decided to stop smoking. No nicotine every since then.
N.O.P.E. = not one puff ever because I know it would lead me to going back to smoking.
To celebrate...after work last Monday I stopped by the grocery store and bought some spring flowers that were just calling my name. I just couldn't resist buying them.
This is a day to celebrate.
I'm proud of myself over this.

That is amongst the best thing you could have done for your self. It is also a very difficult thing to stop. You are a winner! With that kind of strength be proud!

Congratulations! I was a heavy smoker and finally quit in 1999 (March 3rd at 10:30 a.m. - not that I'm counting!) It is one of the things I'm most proud of because it was sooooo difficult. You were right to celebrate, and the flowers are gorgeous!

emoticon the first year is the hardest but they get a lot easier. It has been 12 or 13 years for me. You would think I would remember the date of something so important but I never really think about it anymore. It's wonderful to have my breath back..
