Back to the Grind

I'm back at work today after a week off. I took a couple personal days and only work part-time, so it worked out nicely to be a full week off. Little did I know it would fall on the week my kids were going to get sick. God planned it so nicely for me so it didn't mess with anyone's schedules. Now we're all back to the "norm" with our schedules. It's always hard for me to go back since my heart is at home. I have no desire to work outside the home but we're getting out of debt so that's how it is for now.

I've been Totally On Plan for 14 days in a row now!! emoticon Completely within my calories, no junk, exercising 5 days a week, tracking EVERY day! It feels so great but the weight loss has certainly slowed down to a more normal pace now. I wish I could keep losing 4-5 lbs a week and get this extra weight off at warp speed, but alas, it's not meant to be.

I did the math and to be in the Top 7 for the gym's BL contest I'd have to lose 4 lbs this week. I don't think my body is willing to part with that much this week, but we'll see. I don't do extreme stuff. Just staying on plan was what helped me drop so much last week. I'm doing the same thing this week with much less dramatic results. Guess that's pretty typical. No worries. God's given me the strength to get this far and He will sustain me for the duration of this journey. As far as the contest goes, I will continue to work hard and eat right and my body will continue to change and become healthier. I just hope to keep up with the top losers and make a valiant effort to win! emoticon
