OK...Week 3 in review (1/15/13-1/21/13)
My goal was to strength train 2 days. I met this goal!
My goal was to do cardio 3x for 20-30 minutes and an additional 2 days of cardio, even 10 minutes. I only did 2 days of full cardio and 1 day of short cardio. Need to work on this. I know how important cardio is for weight loss.
My goal was to do lots of stretching, yoga and foam roller work and meditation. I still need lots of improvement in this area as well.
I did manage to do some housework and decluttering, etc.
I think I did a good job of participating on SP. That can take a lot of time, but really is worth it.
My goal of losing one pound was met! I used the food tracker all seven days! I am still on track for losing 1 pound per week. If I continue at this rate, I will meet my first major goal of 140 before my birthday in June!
Overall, I am pleased! I need to push harder on the things that I know I can push harder on. I need to be careful not to hurt myself physically. But honestly there is a lot I can do right now to increase my activity and calorie burn without the risk of injury. I am thrilled that I am pushing on and not letting myself get discouraged at how slow I have to go here in the beginning. I keep reminding myself that I am making progress and that will equal success in the end!
