Well as of today I have lost 7.2 pounds and I am doing the Atkins Diet. I'm sure that the first few weeks of my weight loss will be water retention. I have been drinking a lot more water then I have been and I think that has a lot to do with the weight loss. But I'm just happy to know that I have loss some weight. I would like to loss 20 pounds as my first goal. I am not going to set a goal that I feel is out of reach. I am going to weigh once a month on the same day that I started Atkins, which was 1/21/2013. So I will keep you posted on how my weight loss is going. I'm going to continue drinking the water and eating like I am for another couple of months and then I will go on to Phase 2. I am trying to find a low carb salad dressing that I can eat that doesn't contain Mayonnaise because I can't eat mayonnaise or eggs. I can't eat Italian dressing because it is too spicy. I found a Strawberry Vinaigrette that I want to make a try and see if I like it. If I like I may put it in a blog or in a comment on my sparkpage for anyone how may want to try it. Just a quick update on my blog, since I wrote this blog I have lost an additional 2 pounds so now it is a total of 9.2 pounds within a week. I'm proud Of myself now if I can keep it up and lose enough that other people can notice it to and that I can shop in a regular store for the first time in over 20 years or more. 1336 days ago
