It's hard to admit when I have gained some weight back but here goes. I have struggled since April 2011 when we lost a dear friend unexpectedly at age 53. I hung on as best I could to not gain everything back. I would tell myself, "it's only 10 pounds" then "it's only 15 pounds". I had stopped logging my food and exercise slowed a lot. The good thing is I was still choosing healthy food MOST of the time.
About three weeks ago, I started pushing the 170 pound mark. This would be a 25 pound gain from my goal weight I reached in the summer of 2009. I put on the brakes BEFORE IT WAS TOO LATE !!!! I made a 7 day goal to log my food. I reached that goal and made another one to do it again. I'm in week three of logging my food. Now I just have to get my exercise back up. JUST NOW I did a 5K on my treadmill. OH YEAH, the scale is back down to 159.8. BYE BYE 170. I'm not coming there !!!!
