As part of my journey in weight loss, I would give myself rewards for pounds lost....a new haircut, outfit, etc. Now, that it is going on almost 2 yrs. at goal, I am wondering if I should give myself rewards as time passes.... I know what some of you are thinking....Isn't being at goal reward enough????? I would have thought the same thing during my journey... Yes, being healthy IS reward enough!!!! I LOVE having healthy cholesterol numbers! I LOVE being able to run! I LOVE wearing single digit clothes! I LOVE sharing clothes with my skinny teenage daughters!
Still, just as I believe in challenging myself with non-weight goals...running a half, attempting a sprint tri, etc. I also think I should reward myself at each major milestone along my maintenance journey...Now, the question is...what should it be???? A new outfit, weekend away, etc? I think that I have come up with the perfect thing to reward myself when I hit 2 yrs..... Entrance into a half marathon!!!!!!! My question for you is....what would your reward be????????/
