So Iím getting a little discouraged and even wondering if thereís something physically wrong with me. I started riding my bike in 2008. Since then I have biked everywhere. I even bike just for the fun of it. Through, rain, heat, freezing wind I bike at least 6 days a week. Iím also trying my ďhandĒ at running, I go to the gym; Iíve been cutting out junk food and filling my diet with veggies. Yet, Iím still over 50lbs over-weight. Iíve been bike-commuting the same road five days a week, for over six months and yet, Iím still wheezing after the first half mile. Shouldnít I be getting stronger, faster, and building up endurance by now? Itís been five years, when is this hard work going to start paying off?
