A New Day

Yesterday was amazing for me. Honestly I have never hit every single food goal before. I was under the sodium max, perfect on calories, hit my protein goal, carbs was perfect and fat was dead on. That has NEVER happened for me before. I carefully planned out my entire day that morning and stuck with it. I felt amazing to the point I had to share with everyone on Facebook. emoticon

My goals for yesterday...
Did I make healthy food choices? Yep yep yep!
Was I physically active? Despite severe pain, YES! Went over calories needed to burn.
Did I feel/act motivated? Yesums!
Did I stick to the program? 100% yes!

I have realized that my massive weight gain over the past couple of months has to do with stress. I did not make a New Years Resolution outside of saying "Let It Be" every single day. I know that my schedule is packed full but I have to make time for myself and my family. I will workout every day, I will eat right and I will spend time with my family. Everything else can be done when it can be done. I run a home business, am the "Room Mom" for my sons 2nd grade class, part of the yearbook committee, active PTA member and go in once/twice a week to help with my sons class. On top of this I try to make time for my friends, which isn't easy. Before I would do all of that and rely on fast food to feed myself and my family. Now I make a point to gather up food for the week on Sunday to make my life easier and healthy snacks readily available. This has contributed to me sitting with less stress and it feels amazing.
