Down 2.5 for our challenge. Work up this morning and went to the YMCA and worked out before work. Need to get a little more organized so I can get ready quicker for work.

Last night my husband wanted to go out to eat but I had already eaten dinner and was at my calorie limit. I suggested we do it today instead since I had to weigh in this morning plus I really wasn't hungry. I then went and worked out with a DVD.

Later he mentioned ice cream and I said I didn't want any but he could still have it. He didn't want to eat it in front of me and I said go ahead, I am working on catching up with my team. Went to bed happy that I didn't give into temptation yesterday. The old me would have went out for dinner, probably ate too many calories and then had ice cream on top.

Have a great day everyone.

Good job! You're making choices after you've thought about them, not on impulse! Keep it up!

Thanks guys. Wacfit--the restaurant we are going to today does not have an online menu with the nutrition information, so I like your suggestion to take half home.

This is fantastic. Good choices! Not that the ice cream in itself is bad ... but you want something else more. Glad we're on the team together!

emoticon You are doing fantastic! It gets easier to resist temptations as you begin to see and enjoy all the changes you are making. You will not want to 'undo' a weeks worth of hard work for a few minutes of a tasty treat. It's just not worth it. Also, if the restaurant has their nutrition info online, you can pre-plan what to order. If there are no lower cal meals and you can't choose a different place, only eat half, and have them box up the other half for tomorrow or let the DH or kids have the other half. It's one way to enjoy a higher cal meal. So that 1400 calorie pasta dish becomes a more manageable 700 calories, yet tastes just as good!
