Home again, home again!

Wednesday, January 23, 2013

Got home from the wedding last night just in time to take my son to his class. It was a beautiful wedding, I enjoyed time with the family and realize how much we missed by being so far away. A big part of me wants to go back, but I hate looking for another job. Starting over...I'm just too old for that, but have too long before I can retire. I do know that if it needs to be then the right path will unfold. I really don't love this place, but I do love my job and the people I work with. Delimas, delimas...
Well, I didn't get to work out; my BIL's trailer is WAY too small and there were too many of us staying there; bodies on the sofa, bodies on the floor... and my diet feel by the wayside. On the night I cooked, I fixed Talipia packets...healthy and low fat, and everyone loved it; but I didn't do much of the cooking, but everything was delicious, as always.
Well, I have to get back into my routine, exercise and nutrition. (I gained a pound... emoticon ).
My brother called me last night from Chicago, said he saw on FB that I was training to run the Rugged maniac and that I inspired him! WOW, never thought of me as an inspiration, not now, anyway...but I inspired him, and he inspired me to get up off my butt and move it! It was a good conversation and maybe next year he will come run one with me!! He's 13 years my junior, so I really have to get moving!! It did feel good to talk to him!
Well, I will get from in front of the computer and start my day. I hope everyone has a fantastic day. emoticon emoticon
