I have been a SparkMember since 2007. I have used the "weigh in" feature sparringly but overall its been consistent on an annual and sometimes semi-monthly basis. Anyway, today was the first time ever that I ran a chart from 2008 - current to see my fluctations..truly astonishing. I noticed that quite simply, my peaks of weight gain come in the winter (what a surprise! :) and when I go on a run and drop pounds it comes in the summer. Seeing this is such a motivator for me because I am actually making progress right now (10 lbs lost since Jan 1) during a normally challenging time. If I can make it through to Spring losing weight gradually than - if 5 years of history repeats itself - I will really kick it up a notch and drop lbs when the weather heats up.
