Good morning Spark people. I haven't quite got my caffeine in yet, but I wanted to go ahead and blog a little. I had my two hour skate practice yesterday and coach kicked our butts. We did a 25 lap warm up, 60 lap relay, 10 laps of double loop backs, 15 lap open, 72 lap pyramid relay and because my team finished first, I had to go an extra 26 laps with the other team! We then did a quick 15 min of dryland exercises. Holy moley...coach never gets that much skating in, he was on point last night. Not sure about calories burned. I'm going to change the batteries on my heart rate monitor on saturday when I get paid. If that doesn't work, luckily I still have my electronic receipt and I can use the warranty. I will estimate calories burned between the normal 650-780.
Did get a morning workout in. With practice being till 11pm, I wanted to make sure my body has ample time to recover. I may do zumba tonight. I'm either doing zumba wed, thur, sat x2 or thur, fri, sat x2. I'm just going to see how my body feels through out the day. I did get my squat challenge in for the day. I still have my planks and my jump rope, but I will get them in later.
Anybody else doing any kind of daily challenge? Right now I'm doing plank a day, 100 squats a day, and 10 min of jump rope a day. Feel free to share your daily challenges!
